The Classroom Support Teacher collaborates alongside the current CST to provide comprehensive support for teaching and learning across the school community.

Salary: $82,796 to $136,848 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.
Employment Status: Part-time | 30.4 hours per fortnight
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Start Date: Negotiable

About the Role

The Classroom Support Teacher collaborates alongside the current CST to provide comprehensive support for teaching and learning across the school community.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching
• ACT Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
• Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy

St Anthony's School is located in the suburb of Wanniassa, which is part of the central region of the Tuggeranong Valley in the Australian Capital Territory. Currently the school has an enrolment of 528 students with generally three classes in each of 7 Year levels from Kindergarten (the first year of primary school in the ACT) to Year 6. Our average class size is 1 teacher to 26 students. Our Kindergarten classes currently have 23 to 25 students. We have well equipped classrooms with an excellent range of learning resources.
