The Classroom Support Assistant plays an integral role within the classroom support team by assisting teachers to create inclusive learning environments that meet the needs of students with diverse learning requirements.

Salary Range: $73,725 full-time equivalent plus superannuation

Employment Status: Part-time (36 hours per fortnight) | Contract from 20 July 2026 till end of 2026 school year

Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

About the Role

The Classroom Support Assistant is a member of the classroom support team that plays a key role in supporting classroom teachers to ensure that all students with diverse learning needs can access and participate in the curriculum and activities to achieve the academic goals and social skills required for independent learning and confident participation.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Certificate III in School-based Education Support or be undertaking an Initial Teacher Education university program of study
• Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
