The role is being offered on a temporary fixed term full-time basis from the start of Term 3 until the end of 2026.

About the role:

The College is currently recruiting for the role of a Year 6 Primary Teacher (Maternity Leave Cover).

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging, and differentiated learning experiences for all students
• Integrate Maronite Catholic ethos, values, and Gospel teachings into daily learning and school life
• Actively contribute to the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development of students
• Use effective assessment practices to monitor student progress and inform teaching
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to enhance student learning and wellbeing
• Participate in school liturgies, celebrations, and community events

Essential Selection Criteria

• Australian Teaching qualifications and previous Australian teaching experience
• A current NESA accreditation
• A current NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment
• Demonstrated administrative skills, with high level of flexibility and adaptability and ability to prioritise and work as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability in integrating ICT in the classroom
• Experience in using engaging and relevant learning experiences
• Experience teaching in mixed ability classrooms
• Thorough understanding and experience in applying formative and summative practices to assess student learning

The role is being offered on a temporary fixed term full-time basis from the start of Term 3 until the end of 2026 with the possibility of an extension in 2027.
