Position Descriptor

This vacancy is within the Tailored Learning and PACE (Practical and Challenging Experiences) team at a large, complex secondary school. The position requires a compassionate, reflective, and skilled educator with a strong understanding of restorative practices and trauma-informed pedagogies. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering Stage 1 compulsory subjects within Tailored Learning program and in our Middle School PACE intervention program. Additionally, the applicant will support students to re-engage with education and achieve success through differentiated and individualised learning programs. It is pertinent that the successful applicant is confident building strong, positive relationships with students and families, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create supportive and inclusive learning environments. Experience in developing targeted interventions, the flexibilities within SACE, supporting wellbeing, and adapting curriculum to meet diverse student needs will be highly regarded.
