Position Descriptor:

The applicant must be prepared to work with both French and Australian curricula through a harmonised approach in content and pedagogy. It is a requirement of this position for the applicant to have a high-level language proficiency (C1 level in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is desired) in both French and English to deliver the curriculum to year 1&2 students in the growing French Bilingual Binational Program.

What you will do:

• Foster positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Develop and implement engaging units of inquiry tailored to the unique needs and interests of your students.
• Participate in meaningful professional development and develop pedagogy related to student wellbeing, engagement, agency and curriculum implementation.
• Monitor and assess student and provide constructive feedback to support student achievement and wellbeing.
• Contribute to and implement a range of communication tools to support planning and feedback to parents and students.
