Ngura Yadurirn Children and Family Centre is located in Ceduna which is situated on the Thevenard Peninsula overlooking Murat Bay. Ceduna enjoys access to fantastic beaches for camping, fishing and surfing. The town has two supermarkets that receive regular fresh supplies and shopping precinct that boasts stores that sell sporting, electrical & clothing goods. The town has a well-resourced, large rural medical practice and hospital. Medical supplies are available from the two chemists. There are a number of different sports on offer through the of sporting organisations in Ceduna.This role will involve working with 3 and 4 year olds. This role will be working in our children and family centre with a focus on Aboriginal engagement. The focus of the role will be our Aboriginal 3 and 4 year olds providing a culturally safe preschool program. Strength based. cultural awareness and trauma informed experience would be an advantage. Ability to Plan and implement a preschool program that allows every child to grow and learn. Ability to be professional at all times ensuring that a constant play based curriculum entices children to be curious about learning.
