Position Descriptor: We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Teacher to work 1:1 with a Junior Primary student, providing tailored play-based and inclusion support.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1:1 support for a Junior Primary student with complex needs
• Delivery of a play-based, student-led curriculum
• Support classroom transitions and participation
• Implement adjustments and personalised learning plans
• Maintain strong, respectful relationships with families and allied professionals
• Contribute to a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
• Documentation and reporting

About You:

• Registered Teacher with relevant qualifications
• Proven experience working with students with complex needs and disabilities
• Knowledge and experience with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
• Skilled in trauma-informed and strength-based practices
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
• Warm, energetic and adaptive with a growth mindset
• Confident using visual supports, sensory strategies, and regulation tools
