Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (via Veritas Education)Location: TwickenhamStart Date: ASAPContract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time OnlyVeritas Education is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Twickenham, to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.This school is part of a forward-thinking trust and is known for its strong sense of community, excellent relationships between staff and students, and a commitment to high standards and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities:

Support students across KS3 and KS4 in accessing the curriculum
Work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions
Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed
Help students develop confidence, independence, and resilience

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting
Passionate about supporting students with diverse needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible, proactive, and committed to making a difference
A genuine interest in education and student wellbeing

The school is particularly keen to meet candidates who are either:

Considering a future career in education (e.g. teaching, educational psychology, SEN support), or
Have a background in psychology and are interested in applying their knowledge in a practical, supportive environment.
