Veritas Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher for an immediate start at a welcoming secondary school in Burnley. This is a full-time role teaching Key Stage 3 English, running until the end of the summer term.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to KS3 pupils
• Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting high standards of learning
• Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
• Have experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 (ECTs welcome to apply)
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be adaptable, reliable, and passionate about English
• Be available to start immediately
