Teaching Assistant

• Pay: £1851-£2650 per month

An OFSTED 'good' school in Wandsworth is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team and develop valuable skills within the education sector working amongst a mainstream classroom and dealing with SEN students. The school provides a positive working environment, structured support from staff, and a strong commitment to pupil development and wellbeing.

Responsibilites of a teaching assistant:

• Working with children aged 2-6 operating classes indoors and outside
• Supporting child indicated learning
• Helping children with special educational needs
• Engaging with students through 3 different sessions in the day
• Treating children with respect and kindness as a teaching assistant

Job Requirements to be a teaching assistant:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Interest in working with children (specifically with SEN)
• Experience working in childcare, informally or formally
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable for a teaching assistant:

• An honours degree (preferably Upper Second) or equivalent
