Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary (Blackburn)

Start: As soon as possible Pay: £13.68 - £14.50 per hour

What you'll be doing

You'll join a supportive Blackburn primary school, working closely with their strong SEND team to help pupils with SEMH and ASD needs thrive. Your day will include:

• Supporting behaviour regulation using consistent, calm strategies
• Leading small group interventions to boost confidence and progress
• Adapting tasks to individual needs in KS1/KS2
• Providing structure and reassurance to promote positive routines
• Working alongside the SENCO and class teacher to improve outcomes

What you bring

• Confident, proactive behaviour management
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and ASD
• Ability to run focused interventions (e.g., phonics, reading, social skills)
• Proven experience making a real impact, such as:
• Reduced behaviour incidents
• Delivering targeted, measurable interventions
