Location: Heysham Start Date: Monday 20th April 2026 (After Easter) Contract: Full Time

We are working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Heysham who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team fromafter the Easter break.

This is a mixed general TA role within Key Stage 1, offering a varied and rewarding day-to-day experience.

The Role:- General classroom support alongside the class teacher
- Flexible support across KS1
- One-to-one pupil support
- Small group work to support learning and development
- Helping to create a positive, nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:- Has experience working in a primary school, ideally within KS1
- Is confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 and group basis
- Is adaptable, proactive, and supportive
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
