The Role

As Teacher Science you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students through creative and forward-thinking approaches to learning. You would be responsible for integrating technology into the classroom and fostering a culture of curiosity and critical thinking.

We are looking for an applicant who models excellence in teaching, evidence based planning and effective instructional practice to support the learning needs of all students. They would set high standards whilst delivering a rigorous curriculum which is both challenging and rewarding. Programs should be relevant and link to ‘real’ world experiences with a focus on deep learning. The successful applicant will ideally be data literate and possess effective classroom management skills. They should be motivated to work in a team environment and support the development of a positive school culture. Teachers who are GERRIC trained are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant would work collaboratively with all staff and the broader school community to create the conditions where high expectations and high-quality teaching thrive. They would support the development of positive social relationships and utilise the flexible learning spaces within our learning environment to personalise learning for students thereby creating an environment which fosters curiosity, enhances creativity and engenders critical thinking.
