Dunwich State School is the only school on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island). Our school climate embraces First Nations cultural practises and values our community Elders as teaching partners. We value our supportive island community and the opportunity we have to regularly pursue our outdoor lifestyle with strong ties to surfing and environmental pursuits.
Many local families have a long association with the school, with fifth and sixth generations now enrolled. Today, the school caters for students from Prep to Year 6. We are seeking a teacher who is flexible and dynamic, interested in The Arts and music instruction and appreciative of the need for students to practise daily physical activity and a range of different sporting experiences.

*We are considering applicants who can teach a fulltime, 5 day per week program of The Arts and HPE as well as applicants who may wish to teach just one subject area.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
