Bayswater Primary School (PS) is in the North Metropolitan Education Region some 7 kilometres from the CBD. The school, established in 1894, and the school's crest is the 100-year-old locomotive bell with the motto, 'Ringing True'.
A feature of the school is the strong sense of community. The school is fortunate to have a supportive School Council as well as a very proactive Parents and Citizens.

The Role
Bayswater PS is seeking an experienced and passionate Art Teacher to lead our vibrant Art program and nurture the creativity of our students. We are looking for someone who can inspire a love of Art from Pre-primary to Year 6, helping every student discover their creative potential and develop confidence in their artistic expression.
The ideal candidate would bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to our whole-school sustainability initiatives and environmental projects, while working collaboratively with our dedicated and supportive team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to continue growing our highly regarded Art program and play a key role in much-loved school and community events such as our Art Exhibition, School Fete and annual End of Year Concert.
This role also offers the chance to add colour and character to our school through murals, sculptures and creative displays. We are seeking a teacher who will ideally engage students of all abilities, creating inclusive, purposeful and inspiring learning experiences that reflect the diverse talents of our community.
