About Our School
Domremy College, Five Dock, is a Catholic Secondary College for girls from Years 7 - 12. With more than 100 years of successful education, we are proud of our high academic success in a well-disciplined and safe environment.
The College is opposite Five Dock Park and incorporates the historic main building Delapre built in the 1880s. It is set in spacious grounds with tennis courts, sporting and playing fields and city and water views.
About You
Domremy College is seeking a Teacher of Textiles and Design (Years 9-10) & Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8). This is a temporary, part-time (0.6FTE) job share position for Term 4, 2026 and Term 1 - Term 4, 2027, commencing Monday 12 October and working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high quality learning experiences that foster creativity, design thinking, practical skills and critical problem solving.
Working as part of a job share arrangement, you will collaborate closely with your teaching partner to ensure continuity of learning, consistent assessment practices and effective communication with students, families and colleagues.
As a Teacher of Textiles and Design & Technology Mandatory, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
- strong classroom management and student well-being focus
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
