Teacher of Drama
Melbourne Grammar School is seeking an exceptional Teachers of Drama to foster creativity, build confidence and nurture a lifelong passion for the arts in our students. We have full and part time opportunities commencing in Term 1, 2026. The ability to teach another method is highly desirable.
This role will see you
- Create a positive and collaborative classroom environment that encourages student expression and confidence.
- Facilitate the exploration of student interests, fostering the pursuit of academic and personal growth.
- Support the individual wellbeing of our students.
- Work as a pedagogical educator, committed to driving and sharing best practice with other teachers in the Department.
- Lead the delivery of the co-curricular programs, including Wadhurst production
You will:
- Have experience teaching Drama and a passion for the education of students from Years 7 to 12.
- Work in partnership to deliver exceptional educational experiences we offer our students.
- Collaborate with others to educate and nurture the whole person, fostering each student’s intellectual, spiritual, physical, psychological and emotional growth.
- Use your skills to actively contribute to co-curricular activities
VIT registration, or the ability to gain VIT registration, is essential.
