The Role

The successful applicant should display excellence in teaching and learning, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best. Applicants who can apply the Department of Education’s Teaching for Impact strategy, using evidence-based practices to maximise student engagement and achievement in HPE and General Capabilities, will be highly regarded.

Experience teaching ATAR Physical Education Studies and/or Health Studies is also well regarded. Applicants with experience planning and leading camps and expeditions are encouraged to apply.

In this role, you should actively participate in ongoing professional learning and reflect on you own teaching practice to enhance student engagement and maintain a culture of high-quality teaching.

You will work in partnership with the Head of Learning Area and the HPE team to lead strategies and initiatives that continue to drive improvement in student engagement, classroom teaching, and student performance across Years 7-12.
