Rossendale Area Day-to-Day & Long-Term Supply Opportunities Via Veritas Education

Veritas Education are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Rossendale. We have a range of day-to-day, short-term, and long-term supply roles available to suit your availability and experience.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students with special educational needs, which may include:

• Autism (ASD)
• ADHD
• SEMH
• Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties

Support may be delivered 1:1 or in small groups, helping pupils to access the curriculum, develop social skills, and achieve their full potential within a secondary school setting.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people, particularly those with SEN
• A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
