About the Role

We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Liverpool. You will be supporting pupils across EYFS, primary, and secondary with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties.

This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver personalised learning and make a real impact in a supportive, well-resourced SEN setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
• Support pupils in line with their EHCP targets
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and track pupil progress and development
• Work closely with TAs, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and parent meetings

Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential
• Experience working with SEN pupils (school or specialist setting)
• Strong understanding of needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH
• Ability to deliver highly differentiated lessons
• Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
