About this job

Position Information

Our inclusive school community with 325 students provides a well-rounded education that nurtures academic, creative, social, emotional, and physical growth. We set high expectations to develop lifelong learners ready for future success. Teachers use evidence-based, explicit teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and promote measurable progress.

We proudly learn on Yuin land and honour our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through meaningful cultural education, including dhurga language learning, strengthening connection to Country and local Aboriginal culture. This cultural inclusivity is also reflected in our community language program.

Three special education classes offer individualised programs for students with additional learning needs, ensuring access to quality education in both mainstream and support settings. High Potential and Gifted students benefit from specialised literacy and numeracy enrichment, as well as sporting and performing arts opportunities. All students from years 2 to 6 participate in the Kitchen Garden program.

Our active P&C and strong community involvement create a collaborative environment where families, staff, and students work together to achieve shared educational goals. This partnership helps our school stay responsive to community needs while maintaining excellence in all areas of student development.
