About the Role Senior School Science Teacher - (Term IV 2026, LSL Cover) St Aloysius' College is seeking a dynamic and innovative Science Teacher to join our Milsons Point campus, with a focus on teaching Junior Science across Years 7–10. Your Application To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate: Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition; Appropriate secondary teaching qualifications, specifically Science and eligibility to teach under the requirements of NSW legislation and College policy; Capacity to teach Science across Years 7-10; Ability to create a positive, supportive and engaging classroom climate that meets the academic, social and emotional needs of all students; Ability to design, implement and evaluate curriculum collaboratively in accordance with College and NESA syllabus guidelines and outcomes; Proven ability to ensure teaching and learning activities reflect contemporary pedagogy, including the ability to integrate an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning and differentiation strategies; Understanding of, and ability to use data to analyse, report on and manage student progress, and to report to parents in a variety of ways that keep them regularly and fully informed of their children's progress; Possess a valid Working with Children Check; Strong commitment to child safeguarding principles.
