Who We Are:

Camooweal State School was established in 1893 and is located on the Barkly Highway, approximately 13 km east of the Northern Territory border.

Our school has two multi-age classes, with our enrolment currently ranging between 30 and 40 students from prep to year 7. 95% of our students are Indigenous.

Our school works towards establishing and maintaining positive connections within the local and wider community. We have a Breakfast Club that runs every day of the school week and offer extra curricula activities in the areas of sport and arts.

Experience working with children or young people in an educational, community, or support setting
Ability to support student learning under the direction of a teacher
