We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
As a school officer at West Morley PS, you would be the first point of contact for our students, families, staff and community and as such, good customer service skills are required. Suitable applicants will ideally have a friendly, positive and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our school and to interact with parents and the wider community. The suitable applicants should possess good organisational skills, attention to detail, flexibility to move between tasks and different environments within our school.
The role consists of reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information, in an efficient and friendly manner. The suitable applicants will ideally assist with student-activities, such as maintaining student attendance records, generating reports and inputting data into the school databases. Experience with Compass and RM Billing would be desirable.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
