St Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School, Drouin is a new school opening in 2027.

Opening in 2027 as the second Catholic primary school in St Ita’s Drouin Parish, St Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School will be a vibrant new community grounded in the Gospel life of Jesus. Inspired by the courageous faith and justice-centred witness of Saint Oscar Romero, whose charism flowed from his deep love of Christ, the school will nurture children to “be more” through compassion, truth, and service.

Responding to continued growth across the Warragul–Drouin region, the school will welcome an opening enrolment of approximately 100 students, with a long-term capacity of 300. Guided by a strong parish partnership and a clear Catholic mission, St Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School will offer a warm, contemporary learning environment where the life and message of Jesus shape every aspect of community, learning and care.
