St Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School, Clyde is a new school opening in 2027.

St Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School is the third primary school within the St Thomas the Apostle Parish. Named after Saint Carlo Acutis - an ordinary young Italian whose deep faith, service to others and love of the Eucharist shaped an extraordinary life - the school shall draw inspiration from his simplicity, compassion and joyful discipleship. His authentic witness, particularly in his use of technology to share the Gospel, aligns closely with the mission of Catholic schools in the Diocese. Bishop Greg Bennet describes Carlo as “an attractive saint for young people… whose witness points us to the one who is the way, the truth and the life.” His example invites students and families to encounter the holy in everyday life.

The school is being established in response to the rapid population growth across Clyde North and surrounding areas.
