The successful candidate will bring their expertise as a school principal and provide strategic advice to inform, guide, coordinate, and embed the implementation of the BCE School Improvement Process.

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Work collaboratively to shape BCE school improvement processes informed by system and school performance data
- Implement School Improvement Review Processes, enabling school leaders to use high-impact, evidence-based approaches to school planning, self-assessment, and review processes
- Participate as part of the school review panel, applying the BCE School Improvement Process and supporting resources
- Provide advice on the ongoing development and continuous improvement of school review processes to align with BCE priorities
- Support Senior Leaders – School Progress and Performance in providing differentiated collegial support to Principals, facilitating their connection with BCE strategic priorities and directions
- Ensure best practice initiatives are used to improve outcomes for current and future projects, by providing specialist advice and technical leadership
- Liaise, consult, and collaborate with stakeholders to support the planning, development, and execution of plan and projects
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
- Actively identifying opportunities for improvement and resolving complex issues effectively
- Led teams, managing projects, and overseeing operations, in a dynamic environment
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams or departments and positively influence outcomes
- Being a member of a Senior Leadership Team and providing subject matter expertise to Executive level
- Tertiary qualifications in education with postgraduate qualifications in educational leadership
- A minimum of 3 years of recent Principal experience as an instructional leader, with a strong track record of performance improvement and strategic insight
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers
