Primary Teaching Assistant Location: Swanley, Kent Start Date: Easter 2026 Pay: £100 - £115 per day

Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Swanley to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant for an Easter 2026 start.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

This role would suit a patient, proactive, and caring individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a positive school environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• A good understanding of strategies to support learning, communication, and behaviour
• A calm, nurturing, and resilient approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
• Encouraging pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
• Using creative and engaging methods to support learning
• Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to the class teacher
• Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
