Primary Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking a committed and adaptable Primary Teacher to work on a long‑term supply basis across welcoming and well‑established primary schools in the LS25 area. Schools in LS25 include a mix of academies, community schools and Church of England primaries.

This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, value strong relationships with local schools, and want the security of a long‑term placement without the additional responsibilities of a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Classroom Teaching - Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Classroom Management - Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Assessment & Feedback - Track pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Adaptability - Confidently step into different school settings and year groups.
• Safeguarding - Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold school policies.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in primary settings (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A flexible, positive and professional approach
• Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
• Reliability and commitment to long‑term placements

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
• Recent teaching references
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training
