Southern Cross Catholic College invites applications from highly organised, professional, and experienced personal assistants to support the Head of Campus (Secondary) of a large, dynamic secondary college.
This is a key executive support role, providing high level administrative and operational assistance to the Head of Campus and contributing to the effective leadership, governance, and smooth operation of the College.

- Salary: School Officer Level 5 - $39.44/ hr + 12.75% Super

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Providing a high level executive and confidential administrative support to the Head of Campus
- Managing complex diary commitments, correspondence, and meeting coordination
- Acting as a key liaison between the Head of Campus, senior leaders, staff, parents, BCE offices, and external stakeholders
- Coordinating governance, compliance, and leadership documentation and processes
- Drafting and manage professional correspondence on behalf of the Head of Campus
- Support Strategic planning, timeline and direction of enrolments in collaboration with the Head of Campus
- Exercising judgement and discretion in handling sensitive matters
- Support and coordinate strategic initiatives, College events, and whole of school operations
- Supporting Administration Office workflows through coordination, prioritisation, and problem solving during peak periods.
- Maintaining accurate records and systems in line with BCE requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Overseeing and improving systems and administrative resources, having recommended and implemented process enhancements
- Coordinated daily administrative tasks, managed workloads and fostered teamwork
- Interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, and procedures related to school operations
- Managing procurement activities and financial administration
- Managing sensitive and confidential staff and student information
- Marketing and promoting administrative services, ensuring programs align with school needs and current trends
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
