About You

Southern Cross Catholic College Burwood is seeking an enthusiastic PDHPE Teacher with a willingness to teach VET courses. You will be a dynamic educator, keen to engage and inspire our students and deliver a curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles. You will also play a vital part in developing and implementing effective lesson plans to ensure high-quality student learning and engagement.

Essential Criteria:

• support the Catholic ethos of the College
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• expertise in PDHPE, with a willingness to teach VET subjects including Fitness and Sports Coaching
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• ability to work autonomously and also to work positively and collaboratively as part of a team
• have a commitment to supporting student learning in a unique and innovative learning environment
• have flexibility of hours, with block delivery classes.

Desirable:

• ability to teach additional subject areas, including Religion.
