Veritas Education is recruiting Nursery Practitioners for welcoming nursery settings across the York area, with both part-time and full-time work available.

We are looking for qualified practitioners, as well as unqualified candidates with previous childcare experience. If you're passionate about working with children, reliable and looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

The role:

• Supporting children's learning and development through play and engaging activities
• Creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment
• Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Supporting children's daily routines, learning and development
• Encouraging children's confidence and independence
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive nursery team
• Following EYFS and safeguarding procedures

We're looking for:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred
• Unqualified candidates must have previous childcare experience
• Previous nursery or Early Years experience is desirable
• A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for working with young children
