Humanities Teachers Wanted - History, Geography, RE & Social Sciences
Veritas Education is currently working with a number of secondary schools across Burnley, Accrington, Nelson, Colne, Clitheroe, Padiham and the surrounding East Lancashire areas who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teachers for a range of short-term, long-term and potential permanent opportunities.
Whether you specialise in History, Geography, Religious Education, Sociology, or a combination of Humanities subjects, we would love to hear from you.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare and assess student work where required
- Support students to achieve their academic potential
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental success
- Opportunities available on both a supply and long-term basis
We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) or experienced Humanities Teachers
- Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, RE, Sociology or related disciplines
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
