Middle and Secondary School Math and /or Science Teacher - Girls’ Campus

FTE: Full Time

Are you looking to teach in a warm and collegial environment with a fantastic work life balance? Adass Israel School Girls’ Campus is seeking a qualified teacher or near graduate who can teach math and/or science up to Year 10 and potentially VCE VM numeracy/VCE units 1 and 2.

Key requirements:

• V.I.T. registration or current enrolment in a teaching Qualification and a willingness to apply for a Permission to Teach
• Passionate about educating students
• Interpersonal skills appropriate to teaching Secondary students
• Effective communication skills to liaise with students, parents and staff
• A commitment to child safety, well-being and protection

Duties include:

• Deliver components of the math and science curriculum
• Monitor, assess and report on student progress
• Work with existing curriculum materials and prepare additional curriculum materials if required
• Maintain a duty of care. This includes issues of discipline, students' safety, well-being and protection and WHS
• Other duties as required by your Supervisor
