About Our School
Our Lady of Mercy Catholic College Burraneer is the only 7-12 Girls Secondary College in the Sutherland Shire. Located at Burraneer Bay, we are a vibrant educational and faith community. We require a part time 0.5fte Mathematics Teacher for a job-shared parental leave position. Commencing 28 January 2027 until the end of Term 3, 2027.
About You
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
- strong classroom management and student well-being focus
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of the students
- sound interpersonal skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as a team member
- an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
