The Role
As Manager Corporate Services, the successful applicant will ideally contribute to financial decisions and school improvement plans for targeted initiatives. Additionally, you should provide leadership and act as a liaison within the school and community. As Manager Corporate Services you will ideally have highly developed organisational skills and financial management knowledge to meet Department of Education financial requirements and to manage the diversity of the role. As the successful applicant, you will ideally display effective interpersonal skills to manage staff and maintain positive working relationships within the school and broader community. Your experience in management of Capital Works programs will be an asset for future building programs that will require your liaison and direction with a range of Department of Education and private entities.
This position is ideal for a team player with sound communication skills and a thorough understanding and operational knowledge of the relevant systems and policies required to maintain, monitor, analyse and extract information using RM Finance, RM Billing, RM Asset Manager, Compass, Flexipurchase and Recruitment Advertising Management System (RAMS). Relevant experience in End of Month, End of Calendar Year and Financial Year reporting is highly regarded, as is a thorough understanding of Procurement in the Government and Schools systems.
