Broome Primary School (BPS) was established in 1901 and is the oldest established school in the Kimberley. BPS is established on Yawuru land and embraces the rich Aboriginal culture, along with the historical and diverse multicultural aspects of the Broome community. The Role

BPS is seeking a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Library Officer with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to the school’s vision of providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for our school community.

The successful applicant will possess excellent customer service skills and will need to be well-organised with the ability to prioritise tasks. Previous school library experience including knowledge of the Oliver library system will be highly regarded along with the ability to use initiative in relation to developing effective library procedures.

  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

    • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
