This role commences as soon as possible in Term 3 2026 until the end of the year.
As a Teacher’s Aide you will be working under the direction of the Learning Support Coordinator and the class teacher to deliver learning support for a student with identified needs in primary.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Commitment to Catholic education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support faith formation of students.
- Demonstrated experience working with children and providing in-class support across the curriculum to students with various learning difficulties.
- A commitment and interest to support students with special learning needs.
- Patience, resilience, and the desire and skills to provide learning and care to students.
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Ability to work with small groups of students
- Confident to take initiative, be innovative and put forward ideas
- Working effectively with team members, in particular, the classroom teacher
Qualifications / skills/ Traits:
- Minimum qualification of Certificate III or IV in Education Support
- Experience in working with students with learning difficulties
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Punctual and excellent time management skills
