7-10 English Teacher: (Term 3 and 4) - with the possibility of extending

Saint Maroun's College is seeking to employ an English Secondary Teacher for a temporary position.

• The role commences in week 5, term 3
• There is a reduced face-to-face teaching load teaching 7,8,9,10
• This position has the possibility of extending into 2027.

The preferred applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:

• Able to teach 7-10 English
• Ability to design and facilitate outcomes-based dynamic and collaborative learning
• Ability to incorporate ICT as an enabler and accelerator for student learning and professional learning
• Can cater for the diverse learning needs of students in the context of 21st Century learning
• Lead and use diagnostic data, summative data and formative data, including observations, annotations and work samples, to inform effective programming and assessment design
• Demonstrated understanding of effective formative assessment and HIT strategies
• Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, academic and pastoral dimension of College life.
