About You

The successful applicant will join the TAS team. The position of Learning Support Officer (TAS Assistant) is to support the administrative functions of the College TAS Department. This is a job-share position 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday), 28 hours per fortnight (8.00am to 3.30pm). You must be able to demonstrate:

• experience using equipment in the kitchens, textile labs and timber workshops, or a keen willingness to learn, in order to assist in the preparation of materials for any TAS classes
• experience in using 3D printers and laser cutters is desired but not essential
• an ability to work collaboratively with teachers as a team member
• an ability to be organised, supportive and resourceful
• effective communication skills both written and verbal
• attention to detail
• a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification
• competence and confidence in using a variety of ICT including Microsoft Office Applications.
