“Central Coast Grammar School (CCGS) is committed to the safety, protection, and wellbeing of all our students and children involved in activities at CCGS. All CCGS staff participate in annual training in child protection. All statutory checks and references are required prior to confirmation of employment.
Supporting students from Year K-6 needing additional assistance to achieve particular outcomes, this role requires a person with a flexible approach, a willingness to learn and experience.
To be successful you will have worked in a similar role within a school environment.
Your skills and abilities are to include:
- A Certificate III in Education Support – Teachers’ Aide Special, or
- Third or Fourth Year Primary Teaching Student with excellent practicum and academic reports
- Effective communication skills – both verbal and written
- Ability to work closely with classroom teachers to deliver adjusted programs
- Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team
- Computer literate with broad experience with assistive technologies
- Ability to work within and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the K-12 Learning Support team
- A commitment to the strategic direction and ethos of the School
