Stella Maris Catholic Primary School, Beaumaris is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Learner Diversity Leader for a part time (0.4/0.5 FTE) opportunity commencing in Term 2, 2026.

The Role

Stella Maris Catholic Primary School is seeking a passionate and committed Learning Diversity Leader (LDL) to support and enhance inclusive practices across our school community. This part-time leadership role is integral to ensuring all students, particularly those with diverse learning needs, are supported to flourish in a faith-filled environment.

Working in partnership with the leadership team, the LDL will lead whole-school approaches to inclusion, support teachers in planning and implementing differentiated programs, and oversee NCCD processes and Personalised Learning Plans (including Parent Support Group meetings). The role also includes building staff capacity through coaching and professional learning, and working closely with Learning Support Officers to maximise student outcomes.

Please note that this part-time role, maybe negotiable between 0.4 and 0.5.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Relevant teaching qualification and current VIT registration
• Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school
• Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Knowledge and experience with NCCD processes and documentation
• Experience in developing and implementing Personalised Learning Plans and Behaviour Support Plans
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Current Working with Children Check
• Commitment to Child Safe Standards and the wellbeing of all students
