About You
As a HSIE/RE Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The College has an outstanding coaching model for teachers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. To excel in this role you will be able to:
- demonstrate expertise to teach in HSIE and/or Religious Education across stages
- create and implement engaging and rigorous learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- employ the consistent use of explicit principles of instruction into classroom teaching and learning
- utilise formative and summative assessment processes
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student wellbeing
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
