This is a permanent part-time (0.18FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026

The Role

The successful applicant will ideally work effectively in a team environment and should be able to show initiative and organisational skills in order to achieve this consistently. Strong communication skills are highly regarded for the role, which would include interacting with students and teaching professionals. Previous experience in the safe and hygienic storage and handling of food is desirable.

The successful applicant may be required to assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment by maintaining equipment, materials, and resources for use in classes, and assist the teacher with clean and safe storage of items after classes and activities.

The successful applicant would also be required to undertake regular cleaning activities as directed, assist with the management of resources by maintaining and updating inventory lists, collating recipes, purchasing groceries, and monitoring stock levels and requirements, and reporting these to the teacher. The successful Home Economic Assistant will also provide administrative support.
