Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is 1,100 students.

Head of Technological and Applied Studies (TAS)

Full-time contracted position, commencing Term 1, 2026 or by mutual agreement

Applications are invited from experienced TAS Teachers for the above leadership position.

The successful applicant will be an exceptional teacher with proven leadership, management, administrative and interpersonal skills, and will possess a capacity to consolidate and further advance well-established current structures. A demonstrated capacity to embrace the college’s Learning Framework and a collegial & collaborative approach as a member of a successful department is essential.

The College operates a Boarding and Extended day program for all students. As such, further opportunities beyond a teaching role may be available.

All applicants for the above position must be supportive of the Catholic ethos and tradition of the College and be prepared to participate in the co-curricular area (which may not include any weekend responsibilities).
