About the Role
St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tuckshop Assistant to join our Food Services team. You’ll help maintain high standards, contribute to a positive team culture, and build strong partnerships with colleagues and the school community. We’re looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering great service that supports the College every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to a diverse school community
- Prepare, handle, and serve food safely in line with Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Operate catering and retail equipment following SOPs
- Maintain cleanliness, professional appearance, and College uniform standards
- Assist with manual handling, stock management, and flexible task allocation as required
What You Bring
- Comprehensive knowledge of safe food handling, Workplace Health and Safety and chemical handling.
- Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of work skills required within a retail food environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values.
