About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tuckshop Assistant to join our Food Services team. You’ll help maintain high standards, contribute to a positive team culture, and build strong partnerships with colleagues and the school community. We’re looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering great service that supports the College every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to a diverse school community
  • Prepare, handle, and serve food safely in line with Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Operate catering and retail equipment following SOPs
  • Maintain cleanliness, professional appearance, and College uniform standards
  • Assist with manual handling, stock management, and flexible task allocation as required

What You Bring

  • An "I'm Alert" Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safe food handling, Workplace Health and Safety and chemical handling.
  • Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of work skills required within a retail food environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values.
