Mater Dei Catholic College are seeking a Full-time English teacher to commence 20th July 2026 for a temporary Maternity Leave Position.

Selection Criteria

• An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
• Demonstrated expertise as a classroom practitioner
• Appropriate qualifications and experience in the position advertised
• An informed understanding of inclusive, learner centred pedagogy
• An informed understanding of the role of formative and summative assessment in providing feedback that advances student learning
• An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture
• Knowledge of relevant NESA curriculum documentation, practices and procedures.
• Ability to teach another subject
• NSW NESA Accreditation
• NSW Working with Children Check
• Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or willing to achieve.
