At Southwell PS, we value the diversity of our school community and welcome a wide range of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. We strive to form close working relationships with families, communities, and external agencies to support every student's engagement and positive participation.
We build on the knowledge, skills, and prior experiences that students bring to the classroom to ensure that learning is relevant, connected, and appropriate to achieve education success. We provide opportunities for children to explore success academically and beyond, through our outdoor learning program, community partnerships and social and emotional development initiatives.
The school offers an array of health, welfare and education services that meet the changing and diverse needs of the school community. These services aim to engage parents and provide support for children from kindy to year 6, including the transition to high school.
