Veritas Education is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded, independent nursery in Pudsey that offers a calm, nurturing environment with a strong focus on outdoor learning and creative daily experiences.

This is an excellent opportunity for both qualified (Level 2 or Level 3) practitioners and unqualified candidates with childcare experience who are looking to build or continue a career in early years education.

The Role

You will be supporting children in a safe and engaging setting, helping to deliver a variety of play-led learning opportunities while working closely with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering a range of stimulating indoor and outdoor activities
• Support children's social, emotional, and educational development
• Contribute to observations and children's progress records
• Develop positive relationships with families and colleagues
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are consistently met

What We're Looking For

• Level 2/3 Early Years qualification or hands-on childcare experience
• A warm, approachable, and reliable nature
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Awareness of EYFS practices or a willingness to learn and develop
